London Stadium: The Great Briton and The Academy

The Great Briton pays tribute to the British champions of London 2012 and the remarkable West Ham United players and managers. Overlooking the City of London, it's a premium setting for awards dinners, dances, parties, meetings and conferences for up to 380 guests, or standing receptions for up to 500 guests, creating a space where achievement and celebration naturally align.

The Academy is an elegant and versatile space, it's ideal for food and drink breaks, exhibitions, drinks receptions. The Great Briton and The Academy can be used individually or combined for maximum impact.

With an open, contemporary design, these rooms seamlessly blend plenary sessions, catering, networking, and entertainment, ensuring both professionalism and atmosphere. Their combined layout supports large-scale events, flexible configurations, and smooth guest flow.

All our event spaces have access via escalators and 4 main elevators. All entrances are step-free. Our Business Account Managers can work with you to further accommodate specific requirements, such as blue badge parking and specific fire safety requirements and procedures.

Air Conditioning

Throughout the venue, we have advanced temperature control, providing increased comfort for you and your guests, removing excess moisture from the air to reduce humidity on hot days. The installed system also gives us lower utility costs keeping clients and employees happy with their surrounding environment.

Free WiFi

Digital Signage

Our event spaces at London Stadium are all recently refurbished. Event organisers have the opportunity to display branded content of the IPTVs throughout their event spaces, such as showreels, presentations and logos.

London Stadium also offers the unique opportunity to place branding on the North Scoreboard, external LED screen as you walk from Stratford Station, and on the tier ribbons around the stadium bowl.
